The smart, 9-inch infoPalette touch panel wakes up automatically as your hand approaches. Its multi-touch boasts simply horizontal menus controlled by gestures, such as flick and drag, and intuitive pop-up menus to make life easier. You can now use your mobile device to print and scan by touching it against the new mobile touch area through the PageScope mobile application.

The Konica Minolta C258 can accommodate a wide range of paper sizes and weights up to 300 gsm and can produce originals on SRA3 sheets to preserve margins and crop marks. The optional EFI Fiery image controller lets you handle specific PANTONE colour requirements, manage print queues and fine-tune colour output to suit the needs of any job. The powerful additional functions make the bizhub C258 the perfect choice for in-house printing of short-run documents and brochures.
The C258 features an innovative, dynamic eco timer which can be programmed on a weekday, date or time basis. It automatically analyses usage and improves settings. For example, it will automatically switch to sleep mode during a recurring lunch break. A special built-in sensor wakes up the device from sleep mode when it senses the user approaching the panel surface. Plus, thanks to its extremely short warm-up time (as low as 18 seconds), your people neednt want to get their documents ready.
Information on toner and paper savings are also displayed on the new Eco Meter, making it easy to assess environmental contributions by the device. A blank page removal function also helps prevent paper wastage by detecting and preventing blank pages, found within a set of originals, from being copied or scanned. Plus, a real-time scan and copy preview on the control panel allows you to preview one page at a time, to confirm the position of each document and perfect post-scan editing.
The Konica Minolta C258 features bizhub Extended Solution Technology (bEST). This open platform technology allows seamless integration with software programs from Konica Minolta and third party developers. This software can help speed up your business workflow, manage your print production, perform account tracking and cost recovery, create direct mail promotions and more.
Many of the devices in the bizhub A3 colour series give you the fastest single-pass duplex scanning speeds in their class. Double-sided documents are scanned in one go - with duplex colour and mono scanning running up to 180 ppm and simplex colour and mono scanning running at up to 90 ppm. The Konica Minolta C258 also boasts base in class warm-up performance, as low as 18 seconds, meaning they are ready to print at a moments notice. First copy out times are also impressive, producing quality output in as low as 4.6 seconds colour and 4.1 seconds monochrome.
Todays office printing requirements extend beyond wired communication. The Konica Minolta C258 features wireless and Bluetooth printing from mobile phones - and enables you to print from or scan to, flash memory devices via a convenient USB connector. The PageScope mobile app enables busy professionals to print and scan, to and from smartphones and other portables, directly to networked bizhub devices.
